DVR Overview

With EZ-Vue™, you can see what you want to see whenever you want to see it - in any store in the chain. View archived color or black-and-white video by date, time, camera location and desired data. View live video to check on work in progress.

Previously, pharmacy data and video security existed in two separate worlds and the video was less than clear. Today, HCC’s EZ-Vue lets you  view your data and, at the same time, retrieve clear color point-in-time video so you can see the event when the data was created.

Information Retrieval

Unlike most security systems, EZ-Vue does not require you to search through hours or days of video to find a desired event. EZ-Vue's unique data-driven search mechanism helps you find what you need to see immediately.

• Enter a transaction number to go directly to the desired data and video.
• Ask to see video for events such as "all voids on 1/15/2011," "sales on 1/23/11" or "all returns on 1/31/11."
• Quickly identify suspicious activity at your empty store after hours.

Multi-Store Management

• Use the store network or the Internet to view real-time or archived video of any connected pharmacy in the chain
• Change views from store to store in just seconds

System Features

Prescription Fill

• Capture video of all workflow fill and refill activities from data entry, tote preparation and counseling to the pharmacist's final verification of the prescription.
• Equip the controlled substances locked cabinet with dual cameras that activate each time the cabinet is opened. A discreet alarm or e-mail can alert the pharmacist-in-charge that the cabinet is open.

Point of Sale

• Record video of each item in a transaction to ensure that all items in the lane are rung up accurately for sales, voids and returns.

Signature Capture

• Record video of the customer's signature for receipt of the prescription, HIPAA requirements and product returns.
